My Approach
There is not a one size fits all approach with health coaching. I focus on getting to know you and understanding your goals, your motivations and ultimately your dreams for being the healthiest version of yourself. For this reason, I prefer to meet clients face to face, but if in-person sessions are hard we can zoom or I also use video chat.
MY APPROACH TO HEALTH
I have training in a variety of dietary theories and have studied a wide range of health concerns. Some of the areas I most commonly help clients with include:
- Weight management
- Sleep and disrupted sleep patterns
- Stress management
- Digestive health
- Exercise and movement support
The first step in working with me is an initial consultation. This complimentary 20 minute conversation gives us an opportunity to talk about your health history, your concerns, and the goals you’d like to work toward. We can meet in person and get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.
Health coaching is personal, and I believe it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you’re working with. After all, we’ll be working together for several months, so having a good relationship and enjoying the process matters!
Once I have a better understanding of your health history and goals, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan of action. Along the way, we’ll establish realistic milestones so you can see your progress and build on your successes.
Working together for three or six months gives us the time and space to build lasting habits and create meaningful changes. I don’t believe in strict diets or giving you a list of foods you can and cannot eat. Instead, I want to understand what is working for you, what may be getting in the way, and where we can make realistic changes that fit naturally into your life.
My approach also goes beyond what’s on your plate. While I’m happy to help you find quick, easy, healthy meals and recipes, I also look at the bigger picture—including movement, career, stress, spirituality, rest, and other areas of your life. When one area is out of balance, it can often affect the others, including our eating habits and overall health.
I truly believe optimal health is a journey—a mindset and a way of life. My goal is to meet you where you are, support you along the way, and help you create changes that can become a natural and lasting part of your life.
